This guide covers hotel/location selection and stay-area planning for Pasay. For a Mall of Asia, SMX or MOA Arena itinerary, start by comparing hotels around the MOA Complex in Pasay. For plans centered on Entertainment City, compare properties there separately: that destination is in neighboring Parañaque. Choose around your main venue rather than treating the whole bay area as one location.
This Pasay hotel location guide explains how to compare nearby stays without confusing two different cities. A bay-area hotel search can mix together several different destinations. The most useful first step is to decide whether your trip revolves around a convention, a concert, shopping or a particular resort. That choice gives you a better starting point than a general “near the airport” or “Manila Bay” label.
MOA and Entertainment City: keep the addresses separate
In this MOA Entertainment City hotel guide, the city distinction matters when selecting a map pin, arranging transport or comparing accommodation. Conrad Manila’s official location page places it at Seaside Boulevard corner Coral Way, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Solaire Resort Entertainment City lists its address in Tambo, Parañaque City.
Both may appear in a broad bay-area search, but one address cannot stand in for the other. Use your destination’s full name and city when comparing routes. This guide includes Entertainment City as a nearby alternative, not as a Pasay neighborhood.
Choose a base around your main activity
| Base to compare | Useful starting point for | Decision to check |
|---|---|---|
| MOA Complex, Pasay | MOA shopping, SMX events or MOA Arena visits | Route to the specific event entrance |
| Entertainment City, Parañaque | Plans centered on a resort or venue there | Correct property, tower and arrival lobby |
| An airport-oriented stay | A flight is the main fixed commitment | Actual terminal route and transfer arrangements |
When deciding where to stay in Pasay, rank the activities you cannot move. If a convention fills most of your stay, simplify that daily trip first. If you are visiting one resort for a celebration, compare accommodation around that property before expanding the search.
Staying around MOA for an event
Conrad’s location information describes connections to the Mall of Asia and SMX Convention Center. Treat this as a specific property example, not a promise that every hotel advertised as “near MOA” has the same access.
For an exhibition, confirm the hall and registration entrance. For a concert, check the gate on your ticket and the organizer’s arrival instructions. Assess the return route too, particularly if the event finishes after your usual dinner time. A short distance on a map does not establish an easy walking route for every guest.
When Entertainment City may suit the trip better
If most of your activities are inside one Entertainment City property, compare staying there with traveling from Pasay. Look at the full stay cost and how many journeys you would otherwise make. The better choice depends on the itinerary, not simply which hotel has the most facilities.
Large properties can have different entrances for hotel guests, restaurants and events. Save the correct lobby or reception point. Check with the property if someone needs step-free access or assistance rather than assuming the main map pin is sufficient.
Avoid building the day around an airport estimate
Before reserving an arrival-day activity, account for baggage collection, the journey and hotel check-in. Check a current route to the correct terminal when planning departure. A hotel’s distance from the airport does not guarantee a fixed transfer time.
Ask directly about early check-in, baggage storage and any transfer service you intend to use. Keep the first meal flexible if your arrival depends on a flight. For a short stay, cancellation flexibility and fewer transfers may be more useful than a lower room-only rate.
Before you reserve the room
- Confirm the hotel’s full address and city.
- Match the location to your principal venue or event.
- Check the guest entrance and practical return route.
- Compare the full price, parking and cancellation terms.
- Ask about arrival arrangements and accessibility needs.

Frequently asked questions
Is Entertainment City in Pasay?
Entertainment City is in neighboring Parañaque. Check the complete city address rather than using Pasay as a general label for every bay-area property.
Should I stay near MOA for a concert?
Start by comparing that area if your event is at MOA Arena, then check the actual gate, route, budget and return arrangements.
Are bay-area hotels guaranteed to be a quick airport transfer?
No. Confirm your terminal, check the route near departure and allow for the hotel’s transfer arrangements and possible delays.
